Anchored in the heart of Abu Dhabi’s diplomatic district, this landmark facility serves as a centre for cultivating the nation’s future diplomats and government leaders. The architecture draws deeply from Arab tradition, embracing an introverted composition where an interplay of outer solidity and inner transparency defines the experience. A pair of grand glazed portals punctuate the cubic, opaque mass—symbolising openness and exchange—while expansive communal areas and seamless site integration dissolve boundaries between building and city, fostering collaboration and dialogue.

IBECE’s role as third-party façade consultant involved a detailed review of the building envelope’s structural calculations. This independent assessment ensured the façade remained true to the architectural vision while meeting the highest standards of structural integrity, safety, and durability—guaranteeing long-term performance.
